So the bikes I have tested in this category before have needed a little love, you know, like mahogany trim would fix and shooting03 works wonders, quality exhaust etc.
But “rides awesome if you can do your own wrenching” usually translates to factory specs, setting up carburetor on the money for chain slack adjustment throttle action clean play compensating.
The ride quality is vastly better once those are dialed in, which is why the mechanically inclined often like it.
However, the comment online that this is “perfect size for all builds” leads me to suspect this frame geometry is pretty standard.
In practice, that typically means a mini bike frame layout, which is one reason it appeals across the board with riders and upgrades.
The heart of your experience is the Predator 212 swap. In my experience with real builds, one of the most recurring upgrades in mini bike land, because it delivers so.
