I’ve had the battery for about a week now, used with a Bafang BBS02 mid-drive and it’s meeting my needs quite well. Installation went smooth and it fired right up.

Being my first e-bike, I have no point of comparison with higher-end batteries but from a beginner’s point of view it behaves exactly as it says.

I built my first electric bike in the summer of 2025 and used a 48V 20Ah Ultra Power Pack battery to ride it. After countless months of use, this battery has been rock-solid reliable and well worth it.
The range has been impressive, I always do at least 25 miles on one charge with no pedaling, and if I pedal the range goes even further. For me 48V 20Ah(about 1000W) battery it’s a sweet spot with weight vs range.
I had such a great experience with the first one though, I ended up building a second e-bike. Initially, I was swapping the battery back and forth between the two bikes but that quickly became a hassle.
Eventually I added a second identical battery, and that made everything much easier. Today, every bike has its battery, and I have a charged one at all times.

I slapped this battery on a 35 mile trip to pair with my Lectric XP 4 with 750W motor, it honestly impressed me.
I ran it through a 40A dual-battery balancer, and hauled it around in a bag Velcroed to the back cargo rack. Install was quick and painless and performed flawlessly on the ride.
The ride itself consisted of singletrack, rollers and a few very difficult hill climbs. I toggled between Sport and Sport Plus modes for the majority of my driving time, with some pokes at Turbo.
Even underbthose brutal conditions, the battery worked really good. After 2.3hours of riding the battery still had about 90% left, which says a lot about how efficient it is and how much usable capacity we’re getting here. I’m like 150–160 lbs and there was zero voltage sag or lack of performance while riding.

It fit my QLife 21 speed “racer” and has been an awesome upgrade. It is night and day from the original battery.
Before, I was only able to get about 16–17 miles using higher pedal-assist levels and some throttle on urban roads. I can go that distance now with this new battery and still have 100% on the display.
What impressed me more, though, was the sustained performance. My old battery would only offer top-speed for the first five miles or so, and then slowed significantly.
This one retains full power throughout an 18 mile ride keeping the bike real snappy and active all the way.
I imagine it probably would start slowing at a more reasonable rate once its below 80% or so, but the range and consistency overall are well beyond what I’m used to.
