Sophie W > ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When I finally got a chance to test the Apollo DB-X18The bike straight up shocked me on how sturdy and how powerful it is.

That 125cc 4-stroke has a bit more kick than I anticipated and, coupled with the 4-speed manual transmission, feels smooth on flatlands and trails at full throttle.

What I love about it is how well it handles corners and climbs, the torque which you have really helps when out riding over rough ground or tracks.

For the money, engine performance actually feels like a slightly more expensive dirt bike.

Another takeaway I had was the build quality. The twin-spar steel frame is beautifully solid and after riding it over bumps, dips and even a few little jumps nothing rattled or felt wobbly.

The front telescopic forks and the rear mono-shock are both very good at soaking up rocky trail, and with 13+ inches of ground clearance I had no reason to doubt that I would have trouble riding over rocks and obstacles.

Both the front and rear hydraulic disc brakes are strong and responsive, which gave me confidence even when riding fast or coming to an abrupt stop on loose dirt.

Though it looks mean and tough the bike can still take you as far as you want to go. I’m not a pro rider, but the DB-X18 feels light enough that even a teenager or newbie could easily manage it.

The decals and color are just really nice to look at, in person, and it wasn’t hard to assemble; indeed, I think it mostly came assembled already (I had to just tighten a few basic elements).

All in all I am really happy I went with this bike and I definitely think it is a better value and much better performer for the price than most other 125cc dirt bikes out there right now

There were only a few parts I had to attach, definitely less than an hour’s work-and then I was ready to roll.

From the get go, this purchase was great. The bike came in a sturdy, well-constructed crate and was packed very well so I had confidence from the start.

Assembly is fairly easy, even for a guy who used to ride motocross. Our family has been racing motocross for years, and I was truly amazed at how the pit bike turned out.

Hell, the welds on this frame are better than some name brand bikes we’ve owned, and that speaks volumes for build quality.

In the field, giving how me and my son have flogged the bike has taken a hell of a lot!

It feels bulletproof, like it’s not going to fall apart on you, and that’s exactly the feeling you want in a pit bike that you’re going to get wildly out of shape while riding.

It’s fast in the corners, suspension is solid and this bike definitely has the performance to see regular use.

The only weak point was that stock carburetor which wasn’t the best but after I purchased my Nibbi there, the bike is running absolutely flawless. The difference was noticeable immediately.

A wonderful dirt bike all the way around. The bike is such a sweet machine between the build quality, durability and performance, especially after doing the carb upgrade, that it is just an amazing value.

This is a excellent pit bike if you are in need of something reliable and well constructed.

Conclusion
