This dirt bike became one of the finest starter bikes, on and off-road ever made in my opinion, great for teenagers or anyone who had not ridden before.
It’s a good size, big enough to maintain its dirt bike feel, but still small and beginner-friendly for younger riders. This made learning a lot easier and more fun since my teenager felt relaxed on it nearly straight away.
The most surprising thing I found was that even the assembly process was of a simple nature. They were clear, and simple to prepare, it took my 13-year-old and I around half an hour to pull them all together. The bike had already arrived half assembled, so that made it add up to not as scary of a process.
We trailored it out to a track day, and prior to riding we followed the manual’s recommendations like inflating the tires to 20 PSI then running super high-octane fuel.

In hindsight, this dirtbike was a hell of an excellent buy from Day One. In fact the bike had arrived two days earlier than expected, which would have been good enough.
There was a minor scratch on the upper tree in transit, but I held my breath and they REALLY stepped up with customer service to resolve this quickly & professionally.
They issued a free replacement part without any fuss, allowing the bike to be assembled and under the Christmas tree on Christmas day.
Once we had a setup the experience improved. Again, with oil and gas swapped in, the bike fired almost instantly on its second push of the electric start. The quick and smooth start immediately added a dependable, premium feel to the motorcycle.

In my time with this bike, I found it to be far more capable and fun than I had expected. Been riding street bikes and cruisers forever I already knew people tended to snub these kinds of bikes due to the very low price.
After simple purchase, assembly and riding though, I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations in the best way imaginable.
The assembly process initially wowed me the most. I treated this like a complete off-road project bike, and organized all the hardware and parts before even firing an engine.
Assembly takes some patience, but it’s certainly not the most difficult thing in the world as some might make it out to be.
To watch the assembly video bit by bit and starting with less complex components made everything easier.
I had it all put together with just a few hand tools and an engine hoist in roughly one day. It was more like putting together an off-road puzzle kit rather than fighting your way around a poofy machine.

Well in my opinion XPRO has really done a good job with this bike. The bike has remained strong after putting close to 200 miles on it already and truth be told, it’s been much more fun and able than I expected for the price point.
Immediately, the bike feels like a legitimate full-size motorcycle with enough muscle and functionality to amuse even new and seasoned riders alike.
Most impressive to me is how complete the bike feels right from the factory. The blinkers, mirrors, headlight, tail light and odometer and speedometer just put it in another category that a regular off-road bike would fall under.
Those changes also mean the bike is far closer to being road legal, depending on your local laws (which is obviously a big plus).
Another highlight is the power delivery. The power band is smooth but strong, it doesn’t feel overly aggressive so first timers are able to manage it, but once you’re into the throttle this bad boy gets up and goes.
Sixty MPH is quite solid and the bike absolutely has more than enough power to play pretty nicely on roads, trails, and open areas.
Because of the bike size, we expected assembly to be more difficult. It took around 3 hours to assemble completely, and having a friend or two help or using a motorcycle jack definitely made things easier as this is certainly a heavier bike. Once constructed, however, the bicycle is reassuringly solid and planted and durable in its build quality.
I also like that the bike comes with spare fuses, too, namely because I ended up blowing one while troubleshooting the electric start system myself.
Even better is that you get an extra fuse with it, which saved a lot of cursing and allowed me to get the bike running again very quickly.
However, there are a couple of small things that are worth keeping an eye on. The idle from the factory was super low, which means a bike with no real throttle going up hills would sometimes cringe out running out of juice and stall as well, plus any adjust on that front because of shaved idle adjustment screw made it more troublesome to compensate than they had any reason to.
Eventually, I did discover a few bolts loosening up due to vibration, which an application of orange threadlocker took care of easily.
From experience, the one thing I would highly recommend is enhancing movement for both grease on moving parts and using thread locker on critical bolts while assembling.

This bike has proved why it was once one of the best starter dirt bikes around well after regular use in my experience.
The most impressive thing to me was that once my grandson started putting actual riding time on it, the bike kept chugging along without major issues.

Assembly itself should be within reach of most people, particularly with a bit of mechanical know-how. The video included was extremely helpful but you’ll need some basic mechanical skills as I assembled it myself using a motorcycle lift.
An interesting detail that I found during the assembly is that the rear shock is received disconnected, so the bike “squats” onto its rear tire until everything gets lifted and installed correctly. But, once connected, the bike instantly started to feel well planted and balanced.

Based on my experience so far, the bike overall is very solid and fun but it did throw a curveball at me straight from the box.
The bike itself looked decent, with not much trouble putting it together and overall that whimsical lightweight mini-bike fun which makes it so enjoyable to rattle around on the trails or cruising open field.
