When I say that so far the Solorage X 12V 100Ah doesn’t compromise at all on power in compact sizing, this has been generally my experience with compact LiFePO4 batteries.
The first thing that jumped out at me was the size difference. Their near-30% reduction in size compared with standard models is huge when setting up in the real world, for instance snuck into tight corners in RV compartments, small boats or battery boxes.
I’m accustomed to handling bulky batteries and having something this compact certainly makes for easier installation.

The most crucial part is that it’s running your RV without a hitch. In actual use, even if a battery is also wide enough not to strain converters, lights, appliances and everyday loads yet still unstable, it’s a good sign that the battery is doing what it needs to do.
It’s something I’ve run into where the converter needs to be adjusted for a higher charging voltage. Most RV converters are initially set to work with lead-acid batteries, which means they don’t fully charge lithium batteries unless you adjust the voltage output. This makes charging much more efficient once you get dialed in.
Totally agree with your comment regarding a simple LED charge indicator. Practically, a quick visual (like 4–5 LEDs) is very welcomed when you do not want to pull out your phone or external meters.
I’ve used batteries with and without that feature, and to be perfectly frank, even something very simple in the way of an indicator makes day-to-day use more manageable.
As for the “mini” claim, I have observed that with some models. Often, “mini” means no more than somewhat denser internally or lighter, not that there is always an extreme physical difference relative to AGM batteries. So your observation on feeling about the same size, though very accurate in real use.
From a practical use perspective this is simply perceived to be a good workaday battery for RV applications, reasonable performance and stable output with only minor shortcomings as convenience features rather than any actual functionality.
