Testing this engine kit, the first thing I learned is that you don’t want to tackle installation unless you have some /4/ (NO SATISFY NO PAY)

I recently bought and installed this bike engine kit, and while I encountered a couple of problems during installation, I’m really pleased with the end result.

At least, it sure sounds sweet when it’s running and the performance has been just fine. Since doing the install I haven’t had any 1st-Driving-Impressions type issues with how it rides or responds, so for me it was worth the effort.The installation, in once sense, was certainly interesting.
I mean the engine and parts are easy enough to follow, but the guidebook was a joke. Virtually every review I could find insisted to ignore it, and they were absolutely correct, I quit wasting time on this and went directly to YouTube for the visuals.
That made the process so much easier. Of course, there were certain things I had to figure out along the way.
For instance, the directions called for drilling out a hole in the handlebar for the throttle cable.
I don’t have a drill, so I used a center punch instead, and it worked perfectly for some reason.
The chain was another challenge, he said, because it is bigger than a traditional bicycle chain.
My regular chain breaker was useless, so I used my center punch and the spark plug remover out of the tool kit to punch out the links. It did take effort on my part, but it was effective.
Once the engine was in, dialed in and right however things were very easy.

I thought it was tough when I first began constructing my motorized bicycle with this kit at hand.

My original bike frame was also a tight squeeze for all the gear, while aligning the sprockets took more effort than I had anticipated.
Actually, I also upgraded to a slightly larger bike because the first frame I bought was too small for me. After some online tutorials, it started to click and installing was easier.
I even did some standalone upgrades, say swapped the stock tensioner for a spring-loaded unit and changed the rear sprocket from a 42T to a 36T in order to enhance its performance.
Once I got everything tuned and did one break-in period (1/2 of a tank of fuel), the engine ended up running like warm butter, “Egyptian cotton.” It is of good performance and fairly sturdy for the price.
The only thing that I would highly recommend is replacing the supplied bolts, nuts and mounts before install because these are easy to strip or break.
