The large LCD display is extremely useful—I could see voltage, current, temperature and charge percentage clearly even in daytime; made it a lot easier to monitor than basic LED chargers.
It feels relatively safe with lots of protective measures baked in and a cooling fan that stabilizes during extended charging.
One caveat to remember is that it’s not for completely dead batteries, or damaged ones, and while it can recharge a battery temporarily, it shouldn’t be left plugged in permanently.

I’m a big fan of how this smart 12V/24V battery charger works, I’ve used it quite extensively. In fact, this is the second one we’ve bought, which goes to show you how much we trust it.
It’s tiny and doesn’t take up much space, but still has all the features a full-size charger does, and is perfect for garage use or on-the-road situations.
One of its best features is the repair mode. I tested it on three defunct batteries we were about to toss, and all three returned from the dead without issue. It’s great when it can revive underperforming batteries, money and hassle saved.
Setup is simple, and the charger does an excellent job of handling various battery types so I wasn’t concerned about overcharging or squelching them.
The additional built-in protection and monitoring system inspire added confidence, particularly when using on multiple types of batteries such as AGM, GEL, and LiFePO4.

After a few weeks of puttering around with the LiTime 12V 80A LiFePO4 Battery Charger, I can safely say it’s an absolute beast for those who need fast and reliable charging.
I mostly used it with my RV and solar storage batteries, and the 80-amp output very much delivers on its promise, my 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery went from 20% to full in a little over 3 hours, which is quite fast compared to my older charger rated at only 20A.
Wind the 0V activation feature through that barrel oven. I had a BMS-protected battery that had been resting for several months, “dead” according to my older charger.
Plugging it back into the LiTime charger safely brought it back to life, and overnight the battery held its charge without issue. This nearly accounts for it being made to revive deeply discharged lithium batteries.
With 3-stage system (Pre-charge, CC, CV) and multiple built-in protections charging is fully safe. While testing, I even intentionally tiled the polarity to see if it would save on outages and ran the charger under high ambient temperatures, but nothing could trip/overheat the unit.
The aluminum alloy housing and cooling fan keep the charger stable, and the LED indicators tell user voltage used and charging progress without guesswork.
The 2-year warranty and responsive customer support also offer peace of mind. The only downside I saw was that it’s not waterproof and so avoided using it in marine situations.

With a Klein meter on the output of the LiTime 12V 80A LiFePO4 charger during real-world use, its peak output was a respectable 78.9A, exactly what we expect to see.
Even more impressive was running my RV inverter at 1,800W while charging, no voltage drops whatsoever; no error messages, nothing.
This basically shows that the charger remains able to handle heavy loads and continue charging steadily at full speed.
In practice, this would mean that you wouldn’t have to turn off your devices while charging. I was running lights, a small fridge and charging some electronics while topping off my battery, and the charger handled it just fine.
It’s super convenient for off-grid or boondocking setups where you want power and battery charging at the same time.
